Ms. Liron Afriat is a PhD student in Asian studies together with the Asian sphere program. Her research interests revolve around young Japanese women who are regular consumers of Japanese popular culture. M.A thesis "Fight Like a Girl: Cosplay in the Work-Life Balance of Japanese Female Cosplayers" from Tokyo University.
